hi seba14, good work m8:) i have question for you. in new DC++ versions and ApexDC++ too, there is new future +, like Expand option in Windows Explorer etc.. So.. that is because you can DL from many users at a time, right? in older DC++, like 0.261, there IS NO future (+) like in newer versions. So.. Can you modify -edit in ApexDC++, that it will be with none + option!? Just like old DC. sorry for my language :) So..is it possible? I would really appriciate it, if you can handle this out :) Thanx again! and keep good working! cya, Luke

Разобрался только как указать размер фальшивой шары. А как указать свой файл лист?
Результат - войти на хаб могу, а скачать ничего не дают, даже файл листы не скачиваются.

Good client, but why on earth this client disappears after a while? I start the program, everything works for some time.. then the program terminates itself? Program stays on max 5mins. Very annoying.

The latest version isn’t working. It would be really great if, in the next mod, you disable the check latest version to prevent problems like this.

after i did a little research i found this version is a little outdated. don’t know who is the real author of this mod but if the author is you, you shouldn’t cancel the development of this software or any of them because are really great and easy to find and free :p made a little version that will spoof( at least in theory) the latest version of apex if u want it you are free to take it

There’s an insulting message to you seba now when you put on DCApex: ” seba is a bit** etc..”. Then ApexDC blocks itself and doesn’t work. I specify it’s appears with the new apexdc fix. I think it’s a revenge from the apexdc creators. Can you do anything to resolve that ? Thanx

I don’t think this message appears in this version. can you make a screenshot because i took a look at this version and , to me, didn’t appear any message except i needed to update to latest version of apex

About the update apex thingy get this version because the old version is obsolete If that message appears again i really think is something wrong with your computer. you can take a look at the hex code because i only changed the update server function, nothing else.

Hi all. No, ZFire. It wasn’t something wrong from my computer. There was really an insulting message to Seba when you opened apex. But now the message doesn’t appear except an empty screen and after the bug message “your version of apex contains a serious bug that affect…please get a new one”. Sorry but I didn’t take screenshot of the previous message that was signed by NwN mod creator. The message said to Seba “respect the work of the people…” at the end. Now, nothing of that but apex continues block itself aftef the bug message. I think it’s because of a new version beta 5. On an other forum, this has been reported.

This fix still don’t fix it. A box without text pops up, and when you press OK, it crashes the program. Could you plase fix it? I loved this program untill it did’nt work anymore.

SOLUTION:
Probably, the program contacts an external server and gets an “update” when it is started. To go around this, unpack the original file. Open it, but block the internet-access with a firewall (i use sygate). When opened, without connection to the internet - it is safe. You can then unblock it and use it freely.
You have to do the same thing everytime you run it.
And a tip: in fakeshare, use a byte-converter so the number is dividable by 1024.

Hm, I have an idea. I use PeerGuardian, and if someone just could get the IP of the server it contacts, we could just block this IP. The only problem is that I dont know a such “log connections program”. hehe. Any ideas?

Solved! After a bit IP monitoring, I’ve found the adress ApexDC are connecting to block us “cheaters”. The ip is: 78.129.159.188 on port 80 (http).
If you are using Peer Guardian 2, you can create your own list (List manager->add, then choose location, and type in 78.129.159.188)
(Remember to press the block http button.)
